So for a past few years, since probably TikTok and Instagram became big (and you could earn money somehow) there have been more of people creating good and bad content and then calling themself "influencer". Today it has become more of an nuisance to be an "influencer". There are people trying to use their short viral or no viral content, big or small following to get things from businesses for free, which are since the pandemic been trying their best to survive financially and there exist so mean, disgusting people trying to abuse their so called "influence" to get free stuff from them. For what? For content for yourself because you're a cheap and uninteresting person? What does even the businesses get in return, do you think? Not the ability to pay their rent or put food on their tables. "They get more customer through exposure", like what the hell?! Businesses can handle their own exposure by themselves, what they need are REAL, HONEST influencers or just people in general to buy and/or review their products. Simple as that. This is something I felt I needed to rant out about, since it just felt like it getting worse and worse for each year. Just like the escalation of "Karen's". Ever since the pandemic people seem to have become less of civil, kind people and more of a bitching creep. And it saddens me, that the world keep rolling down the mountain we used to climb together.
