Already one month has soon passed and I have so far managed to draw or paint something once a week. I hope to keep it up, so I can continue to evolve further in my skills like I've dreamed of.

Been a slightly chaotic week with trying to figure things out for someone else. Barely gotten myself to do more creative stuff done since most of my time gone to stressing and fixing other's stuff. Hopefully I can let go of it soon.
A new year. A new try for a new start. Let's hope we can make this year good for us. Trying out coloring as well finding brushes I like. It's quite challenging when I usually haven't used colors when creating art. Finding colors and mixtures that fits is not easy.
To think 2023 already has flown by so fast and it feels like I barely have gotten anything done this year. However I hope to create and to get myself be more productive this coming year. So let's see if I can keep up with a better routine I've created for myself. Kind of stress making a December post. Made the sketch a while back, but decided to colorize it digitally since I feel I might ruin it if I try to color it with the bad pens I have.
Been a stressful month. But I still managed to make a drawing for November.
I still question myself about if I should keep blogging or not, and if I even should put energy into remaking the look of it. Like in one way I want a place to showcase some of my art, that's it. And on another hand it's kind of too much to keep updating on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis since, well we have a life outside social media platforms. Decided to digitalise this drawing. A sketch I made with the Inktober 2023 prompt Dream. Needed some time off from editing and deciding where and how my website to look like. It's a mind shattering and time consuming thing to do, mainly because I never find myself be satisfied with anything I do with it. Happy Halloween!
When you try to keep up with the once-a-month updates it can get difficult when you try to force yourself to create things in the last seconds. As well I'm trying to create my own art using references and not copy and that can be a challenge because you can end up with an artblock for a long while before you get inspiration.
I've for a long while used to copy others art and style, but now starting to figure out how to create my own art with references, rather than making copies. The biggest challenge in that was to let go of the perfection. Made myself try different shades of yellow because I've been itching to try just one color in different shades for a while now. This one surprisingly took me a bit longer that I'm used to, but I'm kind of glad that I took time to take breaks between each flower/animal, it became so beautiful. Also thinking about redoing my header image since I'm feeling much more confident in myself creating compared to years before.
It is time for some summer vacation, kind of. But even if it is like that for others I just keep doing what I used to, working on my projects.
Most times it's been chaotic stressful but it's starting to cool down, I hope. Trying out my ability to color a drawing. Quite happy with how this one turned. This month has more or less been stressful and anxiety-filled due to having a bit too much needed to be done. I was also a dogsitter for my brother's dog for 2 weeks. Kinda fun, even though she can be a pain in the ass sometimes.
Just another stressful last minute drawing just to keep up with at least a once a month update. It is difficult for me to keep updating when I'm basically doing a lot of different projects at them same time, however they take forever to finish. I probably have about 1 painting, 1 carving wood, 1 sculpting clay and 1 sculpture in metal, works in progress. So I am keeping myself quite busy. But it also has it's downside with my interest staying for a couple days or so and then I shift to something else I want to try or keep doing... I do hope you have less interests and hobbies than I do so you don't shift between several ones and leaving things in a corner waiting for you to return with the motivation to continue whatever you started.
Trying out some brush pens I have lying around. Still need to learn to color with non-blendable stuff. I'm usually better with oil than with acrylic, fast drying paint is difficult for me to manage to blend the colors in time and to make it look good. As well just throwing out whatever art I can figure out so I keep the once a month updates. In a way it's been chaotic yet not.. more like manageable kind of month. Summer is kicking in and so is my motivational energy that makes me do things compared during the winter when I'm hibernating.
Had the thought to do a serie but most likely will not go through with it... Anyway I decided to try out digital painting again since I'm starting to get the hang of the brushes and style, I'm starting to like drawing again. It's been a chaotic month and I'm working on getting myself back on my feet so I can do whatever I wanted, like creating or something. Also been shifting blogplatform again...
